It's looking.... Groovy
One of the more underrated announcements from The Game Awards back in 2020 was Evil Dead: The Game. Unfortunately, not a lot has been revealed other than a delay that has pushed the release date into 2022.
After suffering a delay, Evil Dead: The Game is now set to release in February 2022 but it has no confirmed date.

Bruce Campbell will be reprising his role as the iconic Ash Williams in Evil Dead: The Game. There will be four different versions of the character available and Campbell will provide the voice for all four.
Ray Santiago and Dana DeLorenzo will also reprise their roles as Pablo and Kelly from Ash vs The Evil Dead TV show.
As we have already mentioned, a gameplay video was shown during the Summer Game Fest show in August 2021. While it was initially believed to be another Dead by Daylight clone, this appears to be far from the truth.
Instead, it will be more of a cooperative survival/shooter much closer to the likes of Left 4 Dead and Back 4 Blood. Characters from the entire Evil Dead franchise will return as playable characters.
There will be a multiplayer mode that will see one player take on the role of the demons through the power of possession. It's the job of the good guys to progress through the level and expel the demon presence in order to save the world.
